Our Story
Raven Digital Security was founded to help small businesses cope with cyber security. Ransomware, phishing, or a data breach could spell the end of a small business. Security should be for everyone, not just companies with hundreds of employees and a dedicated IT staff.
Heather Vermillion is the founder and principle consultant. She holds a BS in Computer Science and an MS in Cyberspace Operations. She also has several certifications recommended by security regulations: (ISC)2 Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), SANS GAIC Certified Incident Handler (GCIH), and CompTIA Security+. Heather has 13 years experience securing systems, assessing the security of systems, and teaching people about security.
The name comes from the ravens who traditionally protect the Tower of London.
